Serena Williams to grace Converge22, a Circle event

Converge22, the inaugural Web3 conference hosted by Circle, will examine current challenges in crypto and prospects for digital assets. It is scheduled to take place at Moscone Center in San Francisco from September 27 through September 30.

The conference will feature prominent figures like Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum co-founder, eminent economist and policymaker Lawrence H. Summers. And former sports star and business entrepreneur Serena Williams.

Other prominent attendees include Anthony Scaramucci, Stani Kulechov, Mark Cuban, Brian Brooks, Anthony Pompliano, Jai Massari, Kevin O’Leary, Denelle Dixon; Jai Ramaswamy, Anatoly Yakovenko, Sheila Warren and Jerry Brito.

Converge22 is organized by Circle, a financial technology company that provides digital currency services. It is one of the few companies in the space to have obtained a banking license.

Circle’s CEO, Jeremy Allaire, says:

He adds:

In addition to the talks, Converge22 will also have exhibits and demos from Circle-led Algorand Foundation, CoinFX, Dropp, Delphia; Ava Labs, Goldfinch Google, Fairmint Inc., LG Art Lab, Nimble, Milkomeda, RECUR, The Female Quotient, Syndica, Solana Foundation, TRM Labs, Visa, TRON; and Stellar Development Foundation.

Circle CEO and co-founder Jeremy Allaire says:

Converge22 is an event that celebrates innovation. There will be exhibitions, presentations, activations, and a party on September 28th at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. LG Art Lab and Circle will be hosting the event.

And on the last day of the event, attendees will have a chance to get up close and personal. With one of the most iconic athletes of our time, Serena Williams.

The 23-time Grand Slam winner will be interviewed on stage by ESPN commentator Jeff Darlington, in a conversation. That will cover everything from her extraordinary career to her philanthropic work to her views on the future of sports.

The three focus tracks of the agenda are inclusion, innovation, and impact. The first goal is to help people who want to make sure everyone is included in everything they do.

The ingenious track will showcase new products in digital assets and blockchain technology, giving entrepreneurs, developers, and crypto enthusiasts opportunities.
