§ Ms Oona King
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how much money remains unclaimed from the total sum of post-war credits; what the Government propose to do with this money; and if he will make it his policy to use it to benefit the generation which provided it.
§ Dawn Primarolo
It is estimated that the amount of post war credits that remain unclaimed is £33 million. Approximately 200 post war credit claims per month are 641W still being received and therefore the amount unclaimed will remain in the post war credit fund to cover future claims.
