§ Ms Primarolo
To ask the Secretary of State for Health what are the total capital assets of the regional health authorities both in cash terms and in terms of development potential.
§ Dr. Mawhinney
The total capital assets of regional health authorities in England in cash terms were, at 31 March 1993, £766,507,176.
The 1992 revaluation of the national health service estate provided regional health authorities with estimates of the development potential of their land and buildings. These figures are not available centrally.
