§ Mr. Oakes
Increases in prices of Ordnance Survey publications and services took effect on 8th February 1975 and 1st December 1975 and increases in royalty charges on 1st April 1975 and 1st January 1976. These increases were mainly aimed to contain the rise, due to increased costs, in the Ordnance Survey's dependence on Exchequer funds.
