§ Mr. Faulds
asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what instructions the British representative on the UN Human Rights Commission received regarding the submission to the commission alleging that the Indonesian Government are guilty of a consistent and gross violation of human rights.
§ Mr. Hattersley
On 6th March the Human Rights Commission decided, with United Kingdom support, to establish a working group to consider this among other submissions. The working group will meet immediately before the next session of the Human Rights Commission in February 1975. We have therefore not had occasion to send instructions on this matter.
