§ 63. Mr. John Hall

§ Mrs. Thatcher
The Medical Research Council has supported a wide programme of research on mental disorders, associated psychological studies and basic studies in neurobiology, at an expenditure of £8,424,000 over 10 years, to 1970–71. It is not possible to forecast expenditure for future years.
Other substantial provision in this field from Government sources is made by the Health Departments and hospital boards and through the University Grants Committee's funds in universities and medical 504W schools. Useful support is provided by several voluntary agencies.
