asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government (1) how much the Government will contribute to the cost of strengthening the tower block Burghley Towers, Acton;
(2) whether the Government will now take steps to contribute a specific disturbance allowance to all those families which are having to move from Burghley Towers, Acton, to Greenford while this tower block is being strengthened.

The terms on which Government grant will be paid are set out in Circular 29/70. My right hon. Friend has not yet however received an application for grant from Ealing London Borough Council. The Government will admit for grant disturbance allowances for tenants who remain in occupation, or who make their own arrangements for
