§ Sir K. Joseph
My predecessor informed the House on 27th January, 1969, of the setting up of the inquiry and written evidence was invited in a notice in the national Press soon after. The conduct of the inquiry is entirely a matter for my hon. and learned Friend. I have not yet received his report, but I understand that it is nearing completion.—[Vol. 776, c. 937–41.]
