asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science, in view of the concern in the county of Huntingdon and in Peterborough over the delay in approving the scheme for reorganisation of secondary education submitted by the county council in March, 1967 and the fact that the expansion of the city of Peterborough will soon commence without an approved policy for the development of secondary schools, when he will inform the county council of his decisions of their scheme.271W

Consideration of this scheme is almost complete. It is hoped to reach an early decision after further discussion next week between officers of the authority and officers of the Department.
