§ 88. Mr. Pavitt
asked the President of the Board of Trade if the provisional agreement reached with the Common 121W Market in 1962 on trade arrangements for Commonwealth countries included tariff preferences for cotton textiles, jute goods, sports goods, leather and leather goods, stainless steel cutlery and musical instruments imported from Pakistan; and if it is proposed to renegotiate such an agreement on the commencement of Great Britain's negotiations to enter the European Economic Community.
§ Mrs. Gwyneth Dunwoody
The provivisional Agreement reached in 1962 provided for tariff preferences currently enjoyed by Pakistan in this country to be phased out over a period of years. We hope it will be possible to revive that Agreement.
