§ Q8. Mr. Evelyn King
asked the Prime Minister, in view of the facts that many British lives have been saved by the action of mercenaries serving in the Congo, and that other British persons now in the Congo can only be saved from death or ill-treatment by the mercenaries, why he authorised the British representative at the United Nations to vote for the removal of the mercenaries; and what alternative proposals he has to safeguard British nationals.
