The794WA total of credits given to the Government of India by the British Government is £234-7 million. The total at present outstanding is approximately £232-7 million, since some £2 million has now been repaid.
There are no arrears.
No repayments of principal were due in the past two years, 1962 and 1963; repayment of principal of £2-584 million is due in 1964. £2-084 million has been paid and £0-5 million is due on 31st December, 1964.
