§ 84. Mr. D. Howell
asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation whether, in view of the difficulties which the travelling public will experience as a result of 17W the new restrictions upon fuel oil, he will increase the allocation of petrol and oil for public transport services in Birmingham and other industrial centres.
§ Mr. Watkinson
No. Some reductions in public transport services will be unavoidable, but they will not be great. The precise application of the allocations I have made must be left to my regional transport commissioners.
