§ 99. Mr. Wade
asked the President of the Board of Trade whether the International Materials Conference is specifically examining wood and wood-pulp supplies for the paper industry; and when it is anticipated that this conference will be in a position to make recommendations which may lead to greater supplies of pulp being available for British paper-makers.
Mr. H. Wilson
The establishment of a Commodity Committee for pulp and paper is still under consideration in Washington, and I am not yet in a position to make a statement.
