asked the Minister of Food if he will extend to catering establishments in Hampshire his permission to sell clotted cream under the same conditions as he has laid down for Wiltshire and Dorset-shire, in view of the number of people who take their holidays in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Licences to make and sell clotted cream are issued to farmers on remote and upland hill farms in Somersetshire, Devonshire and Cornwall, not for the benefit of holiday makers but to help these farmers to rear more calves for beef.
