§ 162. Major Legge-Bourke
asked the Secretary of State for Air what arrangements he has made to enable civilian pilots to acquire experience on transport aircraft while serving in the Air Force Reserve.
§ Mr. Crawley
As my right hon. Friend said in his reply of 19th July to the 89W hon. and gallant Member for Wembley, North (Wing Commander Bullus) a number of members of the R.A.F.V.R. are now carrying out their annual training at stations in operational commands. These arrangements include Transport Command, and since they began, in March, 1950, 150 aircrew members of the R.A.F.V.R. have been given experience on transport aircraft.
