In the case of the Hampshire Rivers Catchment Area there are no internal drainage boards, but my right hon. Friend consulted various interests and among the names suggested were two put forward on their own initiative by1466W the National Farmers' Union, one of whom was selected. The five members whom my right hon. Friend was required to appoint had to be representative of all the rivers under the jurisdiction of the Catchment Board.
