§ Sir L. Lyle
asked the Secretary of State for War what steps are being taken to 344W enforce his recommendation that the speed of Army motor-cars should not exceed 40 miles per hour?
§ Sir J. Grigg
The speed limits laid down for Army vehicles are enforced by both the military and the civil police. Where the driver of a War Department vehicle has broken the civil law the civil police can either prosecute or report the offender to the military authorities.
