Reports received during recent months from Tristan da Cunha do not indicate any need for anxiety about the condition of the population. Food supplies are assured. As regards St. Helena, stocks of essential food supplies are purchased in bulk by Government and the local production of food supplies has1580W been substantially increased. In spite of the war, all possible measures are being taken for the betterment of the condition of the Islanders.
