§ Mr. Parker
asked the Home Secretary the number of persons in the age groups 10 and under 14, and 14 and under 17, respectively, who were found guilty of indictable and of non-indictable offences, respectively, during the six months, September, 1939, to March, 1940, together with the number of offenders per 100,000 488W of the population in those age groups; and whether he will analyse these figures to show the incidence of juvenile delinquency in the large town evacuation areas?
§ Sir J. Anderson
Figures relating to juvenile delinquency since the outbreak of the war are not yet available. The information is being collected and tabulated, but in present circumstances it must inevitably take some time to complete. I will send the hon. Member the particulars he wishes to have as soon as they are available.
