§ Sir R. HAMILTON
asked the Minister of Agriculture whether any and, if so, what steps are being taken to study the methods adopted in Denmark for the control and treatment of foot-and-mouth disease?
§ Sir H. BARNSTON
I have been asked to reply. The Ministry is fully informed of the methods which are adopted in Denmark for the control and treatment of1178W foot-and-mouth disease, and is in close touch with the research work which is being carried out at various centres on the Continent. I should mention however, that foot-and-mouth disease has been life in Denmark during the last 12 months and has led the Danish authorities to send a representative to study methods of control adopted in this country.
