§ Mr. A. M. SAMUEL
asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of Mr. Speaker's certificate that the Safeguarding of Industries Act was a money Bill, it is intended to find means this Session to amend the Parliament Act in such a manner as to give, if not to restore, power to the House of Lords to deal with all Bills, provided they are not Bills purely for the purpose of levying taxation for revenue?658W
§ The PRIME MINISTER
I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer which I gave on Thursday last to the hon. and gallant Member for Leith (Captain W. Benn).
