§ Mr. JOHN WARD
asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether any inquiries have been made into the complaints of the workmen engaged upon the Parva Barracks, Leicester, with reference to breaches of the Fair-Wages Resolution of the House of Commons by the contractors; and, if so, with what result?
§ Colonel SEELY
This case has been investigated. Some of the points raised were of a debatable character, but there is reason to hope that a satisfactory agreement will be secured on all of them. The correspondence is not quite completed.
