THE EARL OF MAYO
I should like to ask the noble Marquess the Leader of the House when we are to consider the Commons Amendments to the Lords Amendments to the Evicted Tenants (Ireland) Bill.
§ THE DUKE OF NORTHUMBERLAND
I understand that the Committee stage of the Deceased Wife's Sister Bill has been put down for Friday. If the Scottish Land Bill is to be taken on Friday I should like to know which Bill will come first. There are several Amendments on the Paper to the Deceased Wife's Sister Bill.
§ THE MARQUESS OF RIPON
I feel considerable difficulty in putting down the Evicted Tenants Bill for Friday owing to the other business on the Paper for 706 that day. I should think the best course would be to set down the consideration of the Commons Amendments to the Lords Amendments to the Evicted Tenants Bill for to-morrow, when a time for their consideration can be appointed.
