§ THE EARL OF HARROWBY
asked the Postmaster General, Whether any 186 decision had been arrived at by Her Majesty's Government as to the proposal from Canada for a British mail service from Liverpool to China, Japan, and India, by the route of the Canadian Pacific Railway?
§ THE POSTMASTER GENERAL (Lord WOLVERTON)
said, that the question, which was one of great importance, had been under the consideration of an Inter-Departmental Committee, which had not, as yet, reported. He could not, therefore, answer the Question of the noble Earl.
