asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will now refrain from bringing into effect Part of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act, 1969.

As the Government have now, fortunately, changed their mind and accepted that we on this side were right on the question of the basic right of appeal, will the Government now consider giving support to a Private Member's Bill which would make similar changes to other parts of the Act?
