§ 1. Mr. Hector Hughes
asked the Minister of Aviation if he is aware that air flights between Scotland and London are few, uncertain, unpunctual in starting and arriving, and lack co-ordination with flights from abroad so that travellers miss their connections; and if he will take steps, by legislation and general direction, to rectify this.
§ Mr. Hughes
Will the Minister say why his Ministry is no longer "Civil Aviation"? Does he realise that this uncertainty and unpunctuality which is complained of in my Question is bad for business and contrary to the expressed policy of the Government to foster trade, industry, commerce and employment in Scotland? What does he propose to do about this? Will he insert the word "Civil" once more into his title?
