§ The following Question stood upon the Order Paper:
§ 21. Mr. ANTHONY GREENWOOD
To ask the Minister of Fuel and Power, why it was decided to build a nuclear power station at Bradwell, Essex, rather than at Holywell Point, which Central Electricity Authority witnesses at the public inquiry admitted to be a suitable site, and which is a site free from many of the objections that have been made to the Bradwell site.
§ Mr. Snow
As my hon. Friend is not here, and notwithstanding your previous Rulings, Mr. Speaker, that Questions which are not asked are the responsibility of the Member who is absent, I wonder whether, in the case of Question No. 21, you could make an exception, in view of the scandalous conduct of the public inquiry in question?
