§ 10. Mr. Peter Freeman
asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has considered the Report on South Wales Ports from the Council of Wales; and what action he proposes to take by representation to the authorities concerned or otherwise, particularly in regard to railway rates and charges.
§ Major Lloyd-George
I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave to a Question by my hon. Friend the Member for Cardiff, North (Mr. Llewellyn) on 16th February.
§ Mr. Freeman
Is the right hon. and gallant Gentleman aware that the South Wales ports will be suffering under a very serious disadvantage until this matter is put right? Will he make inquiries to see what action can be taken to put this in order, so that South Wales will not have these anomalies, as it has at present?
