§ 7. Mr. Gammans
asked the Assistant Postmaster-General if he will suggest to the B.B.C, that the transmission of the "Day in Parliament" on the Home Service be changed to 9.45 p.m., in view 1750 of the fact that 10.45 P.m. is too late for many listeners and that very little account of Parliamentary business is given in the 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. news bulletins.
§ Mr. Gammans
Does not the Assistant Postmaster-General realise that the amount of Parliamentary news on the 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. news bulletins has now been reduced to almost nil? Is it not a reasonable request to suggest that this Parliamentary summary, which is the only information given about Parliament, should be given earlier?
