§ 33. Professor Savory
asked the Minister of Information whether he intends to broadcast to Eire a summary of the dossier found near Brussels showing the preparation of the Germans to invade Eire, and the printing of detailed maps and photographs of every port in Eire suitable for landing, but containing the warning that the social and hygienic conditions of the people are unsuitable for billeting troops.
§ Mr. Bracken
The facts concerning the discovery of the dossier and the evidence it contained of Nazi plans to invade Eire as well as Great Britain were broadcast on 17th October on the B.B.C. Home Service and were thus brought to the attention of listeners to that service in Eire.
§ Professor Savory
Is the right hon. Gentleman not aware that all these photographs and maps with regard to the invasion of Eire did not appear until the middle of August, 1940, several months after Mr. de Valera had assured the German Minister in Dublin of the neutrality of Eire?
