asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been drawn to the activities of the 1941 Committee of Terminal House, Grosvenor Gardens, S.W.I, which is publishing anonymous controversial literature calculated to obstruct the nation's war effort; and whether he can state the names of the officers of this committee?

My attention has not been called to the publication by this committee of any literature of the kind described by my hon. Friend. I understand that the chairman of the committee is Mr. J. B. Priestley and the secretary Mr. Raymond Gauntlett.
