In 12 counties, namely, Ayr, Clackmannan, Fife, Orkney, Peebles, Ross and Cromarty, Roxburgh, Selkirk, Stirling, Westlothian, Wigtown, and Zetland and in the four counties of cities of Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, and Glasgow the total number of road accidents resulting in death or personal injury was lower in 1933 than in 1932.
