§ 18. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY
asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether any special monument has been erected, or is to he erected, to commemorate those who served in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve during the Great War?
I am not aware of any existing memorial to the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve as a whole, though I would remind my hon. and gallant Friend that of those who lost their lives at sea the names are commemorated on the memorials at the Naval ports, while the Royal Naval Division memorial in London is a tribute to the services of those who fell serving in the Royal Naval Division. I understand that plans are under consideration to erect a commemoration trophy at the Crystal Palace.
