§ 32. Colonel CLIFTON BROWN
asked the Minister of Pensions if he will give the reason why Mr. G. W. Charlton, of Woodburn Terrace, Prudhoe, Case No. 11/M/444,378, men's awards branch, is not permitted to appeal against the decision of the Ministry that he is not entitled to a pension?
Mr. Charlton was informed on the 17th April that, on the evidence before the Ministry, his case had not been established as justifying a grant under the special arrangements made for dealing with late applications. No communication from him since that date can be traced, but if he is in a position to 1759 forward any further information regarding the case I will gladly have it fully reconsidered.
Do I understand that he cannot appeal although his case is governed by the Seven-Years limit, and that the Government will not allow him to appeal?
