§ 61. Sir N. GRATTAN-DOYLE
asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury on what basis the Stationery Office charges Government Departments for printing work; and whether Departments, if they can have the work done at a lower price by other printing firms, 982 are allowed to place orders with such firms?
§ The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. Arthur Michael Samuel)
The Stationery Office does not ordinarily charge Government Departments for printing work, which is an allied service borne on the Stationery Office Vote. The second portion of the question does not therefore arise.
