§ 67. Mr. D. GRENFELL
asked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been called to the condition of the Llandilo Town Slaughter-house, which was 320 described by his inspector as a shambles every day of the week; and whether he will take steps to compel the authority to remove the slaughter-house away from the vicinity of the school and to have the slaughter of animals conducted under the most humane conditions possible?
My attention has been drawn to the remarks of the inspector, and I am in communication with the local authority with the object of securing improvement in the present unsatisfactory conditions.
§ Mr. GRENFELL
Will not the Minister consider the removal of the premises from their present situation in the middle of the town and close to a school where the children see what is going on? Could he not order the removal from that place?
