§ The following statement shows the quantity and value of the raw cotton exported from the United States of America during each of the years 1919 to 1923, inclusive, which was registered as exported to the United Kingdom and to Germany, respectively:1923
§ No information is available showing the quantities of cotton purchased by the nationals of particular countries. It must, however, be noted that the exports to some countries include quantities of cotton which are ultimately delivered at a destination different from that shown by the export records.
