§ 37. Mr. GRITTEN
asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the massacres of Jews in Poland, any orders have been sent, or will immediately be sent, to British officers on the spot to protest in the name of humanity to the Polish military and civil authorities against these outrages?
His Majesty's Minister in Warsaw has already been instructed to make representations to the Polish Government in regard to such cases of ill-treatment of Jews in Poland as are known to have occurred. I am confident that Monsieu[...] Paderewski and his Government are determined to do everything in their power to secure that Jews in Poland shall enjoy the same security and protection as other Polish citizens.
§ Sir P. MAGNUS
Has the hon. Gentleman received any further authentic reports from Poland on this subject?
