§ Mr. DILLON
I wish to ask the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he can make any statement as to the disturbances which took place in Dublin last night, and what steps he has taken to protect the life and property of that city in the event of the renewal of those disturbances?
§ Mr. SHORTT
I have had no notice from the hon. Member, but I have notice of a similar question from another hon. Member. 2890 I did not get the notice in time to make any special inquiries to-day, but, according to the latest information I had about half-past eleven last night, the disturbances were not serious, and no special steps are necessary.
