§ 20. Mr. LYNCH
asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he can state the present state of the negotiations with respect to the Kilballyowen, West Clare, grass lands; and whether, in view of the number of uneconomic holders who are ready to enter upon these lands, he will urge that the business be expedited?
§ Sir G. CAVE
These lands are included in the estate of F. V. Westby, county Clare, which is the subject of proceedings before the Estates Commissioners for direct sale to the tenants under the Irish Land Act, 1903. The property has not yet been reached in order of priority, but, when reached, it will be dealt with as rapidly as practicable.
