§ 62. Mr. SCANLAN
asked the Prime Minister whether it is the intention of the Government to appoint a Parliamentary Secretary to the office of the Board of Pensions proposed to be set up by a Bill 33 now under the consideration of this House; and, if so, will he explain why such an appointment should be made so long as the head of the Board is a Member of this House?
§ The PRIME MINISTER
The answer is in the affirmative, and for the reason given by my right hon. Friend in speaking on the Financial Resolution on Thursday last.
