§ 29. Mr. BYRNE
asked the Home Secretary if he can give any reason why the Government refuse to give Miss Molony, Miss Ryan, and Miss Kearney, Irish prisoners, the right of trial by judge and jury; if he will say why they are not granted the same right of legal defence as that granted in every civilised country in 1169 the world; and if he will say what the Government have to fear by allowing women a public trial?
I have nothing to add to the reply I gave the hon. Member on the 17th July in answer to a similar question.
