§ 47. Mr. KING
asked the Prime Minister whether he has received any response to the offer made by the Government, that if there were no party opposition, boundary commissioners could be appointed for the purposes of the Plural Voting Bill and could report in two or three months on a 271 scheme of Redistribution, and that before the next General Election the anomalies of the present electoral areas might be redressed?
§ The PRIME MINISTER
The speech of my right hon. Friend was only made on 27th April, and, so far as I am aware, there has not been a suitable opportunity in the House for a reply from those to whom the offer was addressed.
