§ 51. Mr. JOYNSON-HICKS
asked whether the cause lists just issued for the present sittings of the High Court of Justice show a worse condition of arrears than at the time when the Supreme Court of Judicature Act, 1910, was passed; and whether he will provide an immediate day for the discussion of the Attorney-General's Motion regarding the appointment of another judge, with a view to in some degree minimising the hardship on litigants?
§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGE
The Government will give an early day for the discussion of this Motion, of which they fully recognise the urgency—probably Friday in next week.
§ Mr. SPEAKER
Hon. Members must really give notice of questions as to time and lengths of sittings and so forth. You cannot expect Ministers to carry all these details in their heads.
