§ *SIR CHARLES DILKE (Gloucestershire, Forest of Dean)
I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he has been able to give attention, since the debates on the Army (Annual) Bill last year, to any suggestions that may have been made by the Inspector General of the Forces with a view to Amendment in the Bill of the present year.
§ MR. HALDANE
The special points raised by the Inspector-General of the Forces in respect of military punishments to which my right hon. friend would appear to allude, have, I believe, all been met, partly by the provisions included in last year's Army (Annual) Bill and partly by Amendments of the King's Regulations promulgated by Army Order 36 of this year. No other points raised by him would appear to involve legislation by the Army (Annual) Bill.
