I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state by whose orders and on what grounds, on the occasions of the meetings of the United Irish League, 951 held once a week in Doneraile, County Cork, of which Rev. J. M. Callaghan is president, a policeman stations himself at the entrance to the place of meeting and takes note of each individual entering.
