§ MR. MAURICE HEALY
I beg to ask the Attorney General for Ireland if he can now state what decision the Irish Government have come to with regard to the recent Report of their Inspectors, as to the overcrowding of the Cork Lunatic Asylum, and the necessity for additional accommodation for the inmates?
§ *MR. MADDEN
The Report of the Inspectors is receiving the careful consideration of the Board of Governors of the Asylum. The Report itself shows that at the date of the Inspectors' visit the contractor was at work on the foundation of an additional block of buildings. The Governors have directed the architect to furnish plans for the erection of additional baths, as recommended, and they have also referred to their architect the question of enlarging the laundry.
