§ LORD GEORGE HAMILTON
asked the First Lord of the Treasury, If any opportunity, other than that offered by the Estimates, will be given to the House for discussing the scheme under which the Lord President of the Council will, in addition to his existing duties, become the Minister for Agriculture?
was understood to say, in reply, that he was not aware that any other opportunity than that mentioned in the Question would be given. An Order in Council had been passed in connection with this subject, 1878 and would be laid on the Table of the House. Legislation would not be necessary.
