§ SECOND READING.
§ Order for Second Reading read.
§ MR. INDERWICK
said, that as the Bill which was now before the House dealt only with a portion of the question 1278 respecting the abolition of tithe in regard to agriculture in England, it was not his intention to proceed with it. A Committee was sitting upstairs discussing the whole question. He should not ask that the Bill be referred to the Committee, but that the Order should be discharged; and when the Committee had considered the matter he should ask permission to introduce a measure.
§ Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Order for the Second Reading be discharged."—(Mr. Inderwick.)
§ Motion agreed to.
§ Order discharged; Bill withdrawn.
